About Joy

Joy resides in the beautiful, artistic community of Medicine Park , OK ……And it’s no wonder, because she was raised in Lawton , OK with a view of the Wichita Mountains in her back yard.

She relocated to Sacramento , CA in 1970, where her wall murals became known in a short time.

She came back to Oklahoma in 1982, started college in 2000/ graduated from Cameron University in 2009 with a Masters degree in Education, a Bachelors degree in Art and a minor in Psychology. She is a certified K-12 art teacher, yet Joy has made her living since 1972 by painting wall murals in restaurants, churches and elegant homes. She gives art lessons weekly in her home. Joy serves on the Board of Directors of Lawton/Ft.Sill Art Council as the Vice President. Her work can be seen in restaurants and churches throughout Oklahoma . 

Joy is willing to travel (with compensation) to paint custom wall murals, residential or commercial.
